    Not just Google

    Also Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon and even Apple to a lesser extent. Not sure if all were due to worries that they'd be next, but they're all big tech companies and Facebook has the most to worry about other than Google to the extent probes also delve into issues around privacy.

      They have all been specifically named as being targets of, or being possible targets of, antitrust probes. What's been announced so far (that I know of) is that the Justice Department will handle Apple and Google, and the Federal Trade Commission will take Facebook and Amazon.

      Haven't you heard? Facebook is all about privacy now.

      (Unless there is a court case against it and then FB argues that users have no expectation of privacy.)
