Sick of being the bad guy

No one knows what it's like

    To be the bad man

    To be the sad man

    Behind blue eyes

No one knows what it's like

    To be hated

MORE STAFF, FEWER ONLINE SCREWUPS, FIX THE ROBOT ANSWERING MACHINE

That's what HMRC should concentrate on. Especially having to listen to 5 (or longer) minute long robo-spiels before being told that no-one is available is an insult.

I read Dick Francis novels. The Inland Revenue has to be tough as nails, otherwise Kit will be stuck in his office and can't ride steeplechase.

    Always been unpopular

The 'publicans' in the New Testament are always lumped in with sinners as they were the tax collectors.

    HMRC customer centric?

They need to shutter Cardiff for starters, that would sort a fair few problems.
