What Hillary did was use a personal email account to send and receive secret and top secret information, had the access control security headers stripped and stored the email on an unsecured server, that is what was against the rules.
Using personal email accounts for unclassified communications is fine as long as you hand over a copy for record keeping.

They didn't, Hillary was using her private [unsecured] email server for secret and top secret communications and having classification headers stripped. And she didn't hand the emails over when she left the job, she had them deleted which does violate federal record keeping laws.

The Washington Post called them "Ivanka Trump’s personal emails" and she doesn't even have access to secret or top secret documents.

Hillary's email server wasn't setup by the CIA or FBI, it was set up by some IT people she hired, the same plonkers who went on reddit and asked how to edit emailed stored in an outlook inbox.

I know - let's just hold EVERYONE to the SAME standards. works for me.
So if Mrs. Clinton stays out of jail and isn't prosecuted for 'just that part', ok I'm good. Let's treat Ivanka exactly the SAME way as Mrs. Clinton gets treated. Hell, Ivanka could RUN FOR OFFICE in a couple of decades, or be SECRETARY OF STATE - why not!
Now about all of the 'hammer-smashing of devices' and not coughing up the 30,000 e-mails and pretending KNOWN classified e-mails weren't because "I did not know what ' C' meant"... (I don't think Ivanka did THAT now did she?)

* trying to hide everything, use private e-mail for classified things, and obstruct justice by physically destroying the evidence: lock up and throw away the key!
While it is easy to joke about internet funbux, a number of people have had their lives profoundly impacted by money lost on cryptocurrency investments, and if the markets were being manipulated illegally, whoever was behind it should be brought to justice.

Try as I may, I cannot remember a single forum I have ever visited where anyone but the forum owner could grant access to anyone. They might have tried looking into that before deciding that anyone could change anyone's access.
That is the most brain-dead decision I have ever read about in managing access to something.
And what happens to those who post those images ? Doesn't Twitter have a duty to report that to the FBI, so that Agent Smith can go and have a nice little chat with the bottom-scum pond-dweller who thought it was a good idea ?

Um, ownership does not equate to administration thereof, because you just know that that domain wasn't setup by them directly (or at least if would be shocking if they did).
Given the impulsive nature of the way email and such are used, I'm wondering if something preemptive can be done about these things. It brings to mind so ideas that are a little out there, but I think that a survey of what private services our public officials--and their spouses--would be worth a study of some kind, at least a journalistic one.
