I actually wanted to see this clip....balls...is it online anywhere else?

FooTube is just crap now (ok..was pretty bad before too but..)...nothing decent stays up any length of time (3.5sec) and all thats left is the self-serving-vocal-chord-masturbators spewing verbal jizm into the ether.

Im in two minds about this.

One the one, in the vain of viral youtube vids, this is quite funny.

The other, more sensible side of me think..what a tit.

He did mention his cut n paste attempts from the BBC, which for any prospective employer would im sure be a great boon.

On second thoughts, could his pseudonym also be one of the regular reg hacks.

I mean look at the evidence.

    Reporter - ish

    Drunken - Check

Reporting stories with no IT angle - check

Trying to gain a foothold in America - Check.

    damn the evidence is overwhelming.

Come, Sarah, spill the beans, which reg hack is this?

    Adam Smith

... from the Birmingham Mail website:

"He previously worked as a dustman, a security guard, in call centres, countless factories and Burger King before becoming a journalist"... brilliant

His article I can't find on the Birmingham Mail site, but I it's on Google cache. Yep, definitely a big cut and paste job. (He certainly fits the cowboy hat)

    Paris Hilton

Also from his Oct 22 2008 story on Toronto..

"TORONTO passed an equality law a few years ago that women can legally walk down the street bare chested because men can do the same.

As I was standing amongst one million people at the city’s giant Caribana festival, half of them bikini clad women, I was a tad disappointed that the good people of Toronto do not take their laws a bit more seriously."

El Reg, seriously you need to hire this guy to get your Paris Hilton angle in every story.

    So good it's unbelievable

    Half-cut

    Can't talk English

    Lazy at his job

Gone on a freebie to leer at females

Talks too much and none of it even remotely useful

Yep, he's a Brummie, albeit a rare example as he possesses something close to a brain.

Good luck Adam, and hope you love the US and do well there squire. Respect.

    Voluntary severage?

Not for the people *I* know at BPM, they'd kill for that.
