    Deja vu all over again

    Remember when Sun Microssystems first rolled out Tomcat (er, uh, Catalina), as a "reference implementation" or a wheel they expected others to reinvent? Remember how since it was plenty good enough for it's time, most of us just used Tomcat?

    Same thing here. Docker completely owns the container space, so there's will be the reference implementation for the spec.
