Security Specialists hacked by securitty guard

Does anyone else see the irony in a company called 'Security Specialists' being hacked by a security guard?

It's probably a physical security company.

I worked a couple years ago at a "IT Consultancy" company that managed to lose all their own financial data in a server meltdown recently, despite backups being one of the services they offered.

My home IT setup always 'needs work'. Visit any builders' home and you will find half-finished projects everywhere.

I once saw an typewritten invoice for just over a million quid, from a company whose success was based on selling word processing and invoicing systems.

(It's entirely possible that their own invoicing systems couldn't cope with a single invoice that large)

Dude gets canned for falsifying billed hours, then company is hacked, and he's caught? Big surprise. He deserves it.

    Oh cmon...

Who here hasn't wangled an extra bit of time on the company timesheets here and there?

I used to work with a chap who was known for it throughout the company. He'd add on 20 minutes to the start of the day, 40 to the end and "work through" his lunch hour.

    Too lenient by half

If I were the judge that miscreant would be wearing an orange boiler suit, and sharing their dorm with a sex offending mutiple rapist for the next 10 years, and let that be a lesson to you.

    WTF?

The total of $318,661.70 in damages

Where did the $.70 come in? A pencil? I've always found such damage claims confusing...
