    Mobile site on desktop

At work I habitually use m.theregister.co.uk from my desktop PC (Win7 + Chrome) - I like El Reg's irreverent style, but this style is sometimes reflected in the style of images used on the main site...some of which are NSF(my)W.

Today I notice that all Reg URLs with an m. prefix are serving up the main desktop site. Bug or feature? Do I need a browser plug-in to send a fake mobile-style user agent string?

Go to the bottom of the page; you'll see a big "Mobile website" button. Click that, and you'll then "stick" to the mobile site (for all pages for which there _is_ a mobile site version of).

    Thanks Marco :-)
