No. That's how they save on the costs of gym equipment. Going to get lunch (and then back to your desk) should burn more calories than you actually receive from consuming the food...

They are building a 100,000 square foot gym as part of the facilities, don't think they have an interest in saving money on gym equipment!

There will be coffee bars, so Apple can employ baristas. And so the circle becomes complete.

Will Apple still be around to see it's completion?

As they are surely next to go the way of the once mighty Blackberry.

(At least Microsoft have other product lines to prop up the dead Windows Phone).

Probably. While they are losing market share, I don't think they are losing market volume.

        but more to the point:

You can bank on Apple's being around then; Wall Street certainly is.

Market share has gone down because the market has grown so substantially as now almost every phone is technically a smartphone. Apple are selling more phones than ever and building a long term business of loyal customers and making money on the phone and all the media / apps.

      Silly coward,

(At least Microsoft have other product lines to prop up the dead Windows Phone). One needs a successful product line not based on the drug business. Did you know that smoking has dropped by more than 50% since 1995. Guess what, so has Windows dominance. Some may still use it because of necessity but most that have an option avoid it.

Microsoft Windows - the 'new' tabacco!

MS only has 1 hope. Ditch trying to rule the world and settle for a percentage of the profits.

    Its construction will be revolutionary...

...no mortar or cement but lots and lots of adhesives, thus creating a synergy between the building and their product range.

I think you will find that GCHQ pre-emptively ripped of poor Apple's magnificent design, compromising its public image as a true innovator (TM). Under TPP, the UK taxpayer will have to pay our 100 beeellion dollars in compensation.

    Not in Cupertino City Centre

"is a huge new building which will dock right in the centre of Cupertino City."

The site is nowhere near Cupertino City Centre (Center for the 'mercans). It is actually about 1.5 miles NE of the city centre. Not that Cupertino city centre has much going for it. Symantec is about the only tech company that can claim to be in the city centre.

Re: A GLASS AND STEEL RING-PIECE...

Thats why the term "Fruit Loop" is inappropriate. iSphincter suits it nicely, especially with all of the shite patents (dont get me started on the "magical" adverts) that come flowing out of Apple these days.
