The what else you're mentioning is called: Asha platform 1.0

      I know, very sexy, right?

But you are right, El Reg should do a recap of all those new OSes and try and answer the following:

      What do they offer?

What are their chances in the market place?

    Can Tizen topple Android?

To many minds Android + Samsung phones.

Tizen's success - and Android's continuing existence - really depends of whether Samsung continues to produce Androids handsets.

So what do you think will happen?

Continue to support an OS that it controlled by the Google Ad machine

Or drop Android in favour of a OS controlled by Samsung

    Had to port HTML code...

    WTF...

Or is that just Orange being Orange?

Apart from that, with Samsung acting as app gatekeepers, you wont be getting many apps any time soon
