What so you mean...
*Both* the people in N Korea who are allowed to see the internet may be inconvenienced.?
Wow.
So much pointlessness, so little time...
Hacktivist collective Anonymous and - unusually - some of its enemies have all turned their ire against government websites, propaganda outlets and social media profiles linked to the North Korean regime. DDoS attacks were launched on Nork government websites and Air Koryo, the country's airline, after North Korea threatened …

That's just what we need a bunch of self elected "hacktivists" trying to prove how great they are by DDOSing an entire country. Particularly when that country is seriously unstable and possibly run by someone nutty enough to try to use their nuclear weapons.
This really is a situation where you need to keep well away and let the professionals deal with it.

Exactly. The professionals are trained not to do anything rash that might antagonize an unstable and unpredictable regime.
So while the hacktivists hair-trigger acts of hacking that risk triggering war, the professionals are busy engaging in more placating actions such as...imposing sanctions...and...conducting military exercises next door to the unstable unpredictable regime. Both things that ensure:
a) the unstable unpredictable country is increasingly on edge
and
b) the unstable unpredictable country would lose face backing down
Three cheers for the Professionals. They are making such ingeniously complex diplomatic moves. If I wanted to make NK to attack first I don't think I could do a better job!
When did Anonymous, et al. ever do anything that didn't make its targets stronger?
They can't take down a crappy little fundamentalist church, they wanna take down Pyongyang?
If they've done anything at all, they've just inoculated Kim against stealth cyber intrusions by S.K. and the Pentagon.
Why do the media bother giving coverage to the rather pointless Anonymous? Their actions here are so pointless and achieve absolutely nothing other than making them look pathetic. Why don't they use their brains and attack South Korean and Chinese companies trading with DPRK and thus providing foreign currency to prop up the regime? Perhaps because that would require a bit of effort and research.
"On the other hand, if someone is antagonising the NorKs by messing around with their internet, making it clear that it's some independent tosser and not a foreign government would be a good idea."
This is the Norks --- anything will be an Imperialist Zionist pot.
I'm just wondering that now China has said the Norks are getting a bit iffy, whether the lad will be singing his dad's song.
In what Universe does anyone from Anonymous think that attacks against North Korea won't be spun through the regime as attacks from America?
North Korea needs persuading not to restart its nuclear programme and to start playing better with the other children, but Anonymous et al need to remember that it is the ultimate petulant child and it will retaliate in random ways if you interfere with its lollipop.
(icon for obvious reasons - you don't want to be living in the city they attack because the NK web was hacked)
What Kim Jong Un says is truthfull. We have only two options. First is Nuclear Disarmament. If we show we have no nukes, he will let us live our lives peacefully. Also, dismantle "Star Wars" missile defense to allow Nork nukes to fly in unmolested.. The looney left will be ecstatic (before being vaporized) .The second optioon is to take the turban seeking missiles off the drones so they may be aimed at fat boys.
