    Clever tactic

“We would not like to name the state actors but D4 — destroy, disrupt, deny and degrade — process was initiated and counter offensive launched,” the NTRO official told the Express.

And what exactly is a "counter offensive" supposed to do? Prevent 10,000 email accounts belonging to top officials from being compromised? Perhaps too clever by half.

        FAIL

        Go to DEFCON "ARSED"!

        “destroy, disrupt, deny and degrade”

Sounds like any standard civil servant's job description, really.

    I'm *so* happy that I've divested ...

... my bits of stock related to any company that has off-shored "tech support" to that neck of the woods.

It'd be easier if you just said "I'm so happy I sold all my stock".

10,000 Indian government and military emails hacked .

10,000 Indian government and military emails were not HACKED. This is just shitty journalism.

There was probably ONE server hacked and that server contains "maybe" the possibilty to change the passwords or read email accounts.

Hacking ONE server really is not the same thing as hacking 10000 email accounts.

Ans no this is not a question of symantics.......

      Er...

"This is not the first time when Indian government is under cyber attacks and being clueless about it, in past 294 Indian Government Websites were hacked at the beginning of 2012. The sites belong to various level of ministries within the Indian government setup."

To which extend were and are civil or military nuclear facilities compromised?

      I'm honestly scared.

“Paramilitary forces were also badly hit, especially the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), as deployments were revealed."

Well that gives a pointer to where the attack came from!
