Will I now be able to get some decent porn on screen?

"So a media publisher will still be held to the broadcast and censorship rules of its own country. It can then sell its content anywhere in the EU without having to tweak the content each time."

Does this mean that Dutch broadcasters can now get their material to me without interference from HM Government?

We are stuck in a timewarp.. circa 1st sept 1985

Does this mean UK internet sites now have to censor their content to suite the opressive and corrupt reigme that sets TV rules?

Does this mean that IPTV aggeragators won't get prosecuted?

There is nothing stopping you subscribing to Dutch satellite Broadcasters now because of free trade rules. The worldwide primary dealers are based in the UK!!

HMG must get a nice amount of VAT...

British girls/men doing hard-core for £140 a year which is cheaper than TVX!

Probably best not to ask WHO has control of PAY TV in the UK...

Who are the assclowns that subscribe to British soft-core like TVX?

    Language Timothy!

Of course there is the little factor of language! Porn is OK but I certainly won't be watching a Spanish documentary or a Finnish soap, no matter how cheap or high quality it is.

Whether the broadcasters choose to do a version in another language is the deciding factor. I heard a rumour of a co-operation between French and British film makers to make films with two soundtracks but I've yet to come across one unfortunately. I would love to watch European output than cheap American. The Germans make some super stuff but they still think their stuff is suitable only for the home market and often don't even put subtitles on it. Come on Fritz, let's have some more of your stuff! That East German comedy film thing with the woman in the coma waking up after the wall had come down and they pretended it hadn't was great and better than a lot of the stuff we get from America and even the UK. I used to love Czech cartoons too. I'm sure there is a lot of fab stuff out there but the barrier is language.
