If you ask for best "mobile phone"...

siri says "you're kidding, right?". As above - it says "I think you've answered that question".

Re: If you ask for best "mobile phone"...

I think maybe they vary the answers to make it look less like a crappy RSA chatbot, as when I asked it said "The Winnebago Journey 42E"

    Meh

    Yep

Apple have successfully applied their "Reality Distortion Field" and now normal service has been resumed, i.e. Siri now recommends Apple over the Truth.

      Re: Yep

What is the truth then? everyone will have their own opinion.

Ask what is the best car and many will have an opinion too.

        Re: Yep

If everyone has their own opinion why is Siri even answering subjective questions like this?

          Well said sir.

AC, Another Applite with a considered opinion.

Well Siri is allowed an opinion too!

The marketeers try to push an emotional connection with products like Siri.

It builds trust. When Siri 1.5 comes along they will use it to help you buy crap you don't need.

            How dare you ?

Think I could be fooled into buying crap I don't need ?

    No Way, Siri!

    Best one's the N9, isn't it? ;)

Totally wrong. It should have said the Nokia 6310i of course.

Now if they had asked what is the best smartphone it would have been a different answer.

    OLD OLD news...

Actually, so old that Apple have now changed the result so that it says things like "you're holding it" you're kidding, right?" etc. Oh yes, the results are MOST DEFINITELY filtered and monitored by Apple.

Shittiest voice command system recommends the Shittiest Mobile OS.

    No surprise there then...

All this demonstrates is how much money Microsoft are piling into online advertising and viral marketing to try and get the dire Windows Phone OS, and Lumia line a foothold.
