      Android/Linux

The Chinese don't have to steal it when it's given away for free. Of course they may not want to pay Microsoft the license fees it would then owe.

    Idiots...

Sometime, in a suburb of Maryland, back in the early '70s, someone rubbed their hands with glee at the thought of Nixon opening up China for American companies to dump their products into - a mass market of 1 billion, green-clad Chinese that all wanted (it was assumed) the freedom to buy American products...

Now we have exported the majority of our manufacturing base to them, and of course they will now buy Chinese products. A lot of American companies have gotten terribly wealthy during this period by outsourcing to China, but the average American has seen his/her household income plummet in real terms. To say nothing of job security.

And yet somehow, we were SURE we were tricking them...lolz.

Don't forget that the average US consumer could buy lots more with their shrinking incomes than they could 20 years ago all because of the millions of Chinese workers toiling away in the factories.
