I fully support Nawab Liaqat Ali Khan on this

Why shouldn't you be able to google 'naked big boys with their wangs out', without being assailed by a lot of smut. It's an outrage I tell you!

Can I be the first to ask for a full list of these sites so I can visit them all and thereby be able to post and unbiased view on if they are obscene or not....

    WTF?

"the increasing prevalence of online smut had exacerbated violence against women"

Right, because they're responsible for all those Honour Killings and other such "cultural" behaviours which have made your country such a delight for women to live in...

    "13,000 sites it deems “obscene”"?

I guess that's a start - I'm not even going to Google "porn" to see what they still have to do? Total joke if you ask me...

      Nope it's ok...

...anything that shows rape and violence towards women is deemed acceptable. Only those that show women taking any sort of control of their situation are deemed obscence.

India could devise mechanisms like vpns etc. to help pakistanis to access blocked sites. Same way, Pakistan can help Indians access sites banned in India.

I for one welcome the blocking of these obscene websites, the more people who cannot see these disgusting sites the better as it means more bandwidth and less lag for me :)

"ultimately wouldn't deal with the root cause"

Yep, because the "root cause" is simply that sex sells.

Always has, always will, and I don't care what your religion is 'cause it don't matter.

You wanna address the "root cause" ? Educate your people. Elevate them intellectually beyond the instinctual level and make them appreciate the more sophisticated pleasures of women in stockings instead of just bare flesh.

But whatever you do, don't ever believe that you can eradicate porn. It just won't happen.

    Ever.

    Funny people

They seem to be writing complaints with one hand while doing the hand relief with the other.

Apparently, Pakistan is one of the top consumers of porn on the net...
