It isn't the cost of labor that holds back fabs in America
Somewhere in the Archives there is an interview with a an Intel executive who claims it is the cost of regulations not labor that stops people from building fabs in the U.S.. So the hiring of American's at American wages ( Less thirty to forty percent compared to three years ago) isn't really a factor regardless of what your article says. The companies that build over seas for supposedly lower labor costs also get to skip the environmental laws that the U.S. has.
The Fact that Samsung can expand in a very liberal, eco friendly Austin is impressive.
