    WTF?

They want opinions on Business Continuity from the sort of people who want an iPad... weird!

      WTF?

Maybe because you can just replace a broken/lost iPad with another one and very quickly restore it?

Don't see how laptops/netbooks/other tablets would be any better.

      Correction

They want opinions on Business Continuity from the sort of people who want the value of an iPad once eBay have taken their cut...

Although given the biggest complaint seems to be "it's too expensive!", many people may be happy with a free one. Jailbreak it and complaint number 2 disappears (walled garden).

FWIW, my parents won an iPad and use it as an internet tablet and nothing else, mainly because they can't figure out how to buy any Apps for it...

    iPad2

    No thanks.

If I wanted to look like a dickhead, I would just paint my face orange.

Instead you look like a dumbass

      Alternative scenario:

      1. Win iPad 2.

      2. Sell it on eBay.

      3. Buy whatever meta-hipster gadget you're not too cool for.

      4. Pat yourself on the back for not being a dumbass.

        FAIL

        Or alternatively...

...just use the pay my employer gives me to do the same and not have to face stoopid questions from marketing-types (who already think I'm the sort of moron that would want an iPad) and endless spam and calls from same.

You appear to be equating "entering a draw for" with "getting". You may suffer some disappointment in life.

      or...

...you could look like a dickhead by showing the world that you need to bolster your self esteem by denigrating others in a public forum. Since you have no interest in iPads and this story is specifically about a competition to win one it's probable you spent time reading it with the sole purpose of writing your little put down...

    Why UK readers only?

What about the rest of the world (especially as we always have to read complaints US only offers)?

You didn't say it was a Microsoft Product Business Continuity survey!

    Oxymoron anyone?

    Not Large Print...

It's standard sized - although a welcome difference from the sub pixel fonts we're normally expected to read

  9. The Jase

They want your employers details (no doubt to sell them something) for the *chance* of getting an iPad.

    No thankee sir!

    Security risk

I am not about to give information about the resilience\lack thereof of my employer's infrastructure If I have to name them as well.

I could be sacked. This is security 101 for IS warriors.

    Why is this "news" ?

I have no problem with companies drumming up sales through surveys and prizes are always a good incentive but I'm sure I opted out of this via email. Having something pushed in my face is a new tactic I'm not especially keen on
