    ...thinking of another use for websites ending in .children ....

    Still, it doesn't really matter WHAT tld those people use.

    Somehow it strikes me as not the least bit surprising that the same company behind the .xxx landgrab made a bid for .kids previously. They're ostensibly opposites, yet so much the same. It's like they're mirror images. Either way they get to play moral guardian and beat people over the head with their halo instead of having an honest discussion about whether this is actually a good idea.

    Instead of a TDL why can't they add a second level domain? Just like the UK has for .co.uk, .org,uk, net.uk, sch,uk, nhs,uk, gov,uk, mod.uk, etc.

    Hardly needs ICANN approval and they can police it themselves entirely for their own use.

      Ssshhh!! That argument applies to *any* TLD application and if it becomes widely known and accepted then ICANN won't make any money.

    A TLD containing content that a 17 year old is using the internet for? Didn't they already create a TLD specifically for porn?

    Based on what I read of Russian ISPs' hosting policies...

    ...'save the children' is usually followed by "...for the VIP section".
