    Yadda yadda yadda

    Yeah, yeah, yeah!!!!

No surprise that .govs strategy is fucked if they can't keep a steady management ship in place for more than 5 minutes.

    What's the roadmap?

Is he a human shield like the Adlib Dems, or is he a marinading scapegoat? [The first one is meant to survive.]

    142K for boss

less that 14K each for support staff. I suspect he earns more that ten of his employees!

I wonder what his expenses look like?

Pay the guy a pittance and provide him with a target based bonus - with one of the targets being based upon staff feedback - if they dislike him he gets no bonus whatsoever.

bluntly if he cannot do the job without pissing of the staff then he does not deserve a decent salary.

Also 100 staff means he should know them all by name - our CEO knew all out names in a 3500 staff company!

    Needed

    - a strategy for talking to the middle classes.

We haven't needed one of those since the vote was extended beyond the landed gentry.

Can whoever has reversed the direction of time please stop now - its not funny anymore.

    The Mike Bracken I knew

Just like to point out that the government finally has an ex-employee of Ziff-Davis' techie geek porn mag *PC Direct* in a position of responsibility. I know this, because I worked with him in the early 90s.

Brax also has form as one of the founders of an online indie mag: http://ragemagazine.co.uk/. One day he's liveblogging about indie bands from Glastonbury, the next he's a heartbeat from the presidency. An example to all of us who secretly lust for power.

Though he probably got the job...

... due to coming from a newspaper. Which is somewhat ironic.

But at least it's not the daily fail, eh?

Anyway, how long he and his gushing will last, we'll find out soon enough.

If they really wanted to improve their online visibility they should have recruited from the Daily Maul.

    Could be interesting

However, I wonder if he will go Soft after a barrage of Micro attacks.
