    Scary words

"The attack shows massive criminal intent," Sounds like something that IRAN might to to Mr Trump.... when in fact, someone clicked/opened an infected word document, or executed a downloaded executable...

What's the guessing that it was someone in upper managlement who has rights to read/write more files than they truly require...

not the first time they've been caught out...

I have my own domain and use a different email address for every company I deal with.

Bought a bike from Canyon about 4-5 years ago, within 18 months I was receiving spam for porn, internet dating, viagra and the like to the email address I only used to correspond with them. Tried contacting them to alert them to this (and the fact there was clearly a leak or vulnerability somewhere), got absolutely no response after multiple attempts.

Ah well they host their servers at 1&1 which says it all really. Not the cleanest of places when it comes to hosting.

    Awesome bikes though...

I'll forgive their security shortcomings while blasting along on my Ultimate CF SLX :)

    It all becomes clear

It wasn't a malicious hack, just some poor bugger desperate trying to find out if they're ever going to get their mountain bike delivered. Wish I'd through of it myself :-D
