Not really. Pharma is pushing drugs for profit without affecting health negatively. Why cure cancer when a palliative pill to hold cancer in check can reap a fortune over the rbalance of a lifetime. Profit margin is high.
Healthcare is insurance, hospitals, clinics, labs, healthcare professionals, etc. These run on tighter margins.
Pharma is a significant enough revenue/profit generator to justify its own category. The differential between salaries are significant between Pharma and Healthcare.
Insurance is heathcare? No, notsomuch. And insurance runs on tight margins? Again, notsomuch.
As a quick mental check, think about what you see advertised the most, on television, radio, newspaper, etc (I'll assume you see nothing advertised online, that means you're doing it right!). There's certain types of business that have significantly more advertising spend than others--turns out, it's because they're very profitable indeed. Insurance, pharma, and telcom companies very clearly have huge profit margins....
