Please don't take this the wrong way but it always takes me several minutes to try and recover my thought process after reading your posts.

    Mixed signal?

Bolton (and by proxy his boss) are killing off the cybersecurity advisor position and yet the State Department is setting up one. It will be interesting to see of other departments follow the State Department's lead. If so, there will be a multi-tailed monster created without a head to coordinate things. How exactly will eliminating one position while creating a whole new set of sub departments "draining the swamp"?

      Re: Mixed signal?

The gravy train must run, so new positions must be "found".

A clearly mixed up signal which will have both manic opponents and international and national competition everywhere thoroughly overjoyed at the arrogance and ignorance and hubris evidenced.

My Finnish friend told me an instance where a group of migrants—like 5 of them—assaulted a young girl and got left off the hook because they were not culturally inspired or some garbage. Meanwhile the girl was left traumatized by the experience. The same group was later confronted by someone else and admitted to their crimes on camera but still nothing happened.

Oh but you're a working citizen and want to get drunk on your front doorstep? Here have a fine :)

    "Sentient mustache John Bolton"

Getting a bit tired of these supposedly funny insults. I used to have a mustache, and while it was indeed a truly, truly awful one, I think it deserved some acknowledgeemnt, if only as a signifier of youthful idiocy.

If mustaches were sentient, they would object to invidious comparisons with elderly-relative-you-wouldn't-leave-alone-with-the-kids Bolton.

He's using the 'stache as a disguise so he can divert attention from his scheming eyes. Don't be fooled.
