      Tried it, it's okay for just surfing the web and using gmail but there is a serious lack of applications - and the package management is a joke.

    No, we don't want everybody to use the same development tools, that would be silly.

    Diversity can have the most extraordinary and unexpected benefits.

      You're right but we standardize when we do for good reason so there's definitely a limit to the value of diversity.
