    pointless since phillips have a install base of Zigbee Light Link (ZLL) that they have already defined a API (restful and all that) for already...

    how about producing actual light switch's that interoperate with Zigbee Light Link ?

    zigbee did a decent job of showing the bluetooth committee they need to focus on things like power meters (for the home) and get IPv6 transport up and running...
