    Hackers has broken into the SWIFT system

    Come off it elReg, they didn't hack SWIFT, they hacked an Oracle database running on Microsoft Windows.

      err... right. Now which one will get you the attention of an LEO and a longer jail term? The banks themselves or the bank's customers?

    But the attack on the Bangladesh Central Bank didn't involve SWIFT being broken into. Neither did the other attacks that came to light (with a lot less publicity) shortly afterwards.
