    Why name the judge?

The investigator, prosecutor and jury members had similar involvement. If you are going to name them, have some guts and name them all!

There was probably a team of investigators and prosecutors in the case. In a very rare show of restraint, the identity of jurors is almost revealed in the US by the media. Also, it was the judge who handed down the sentence not the jurors (if any).

        Re: Why name the judge?

The plaintiff PLEAD GUILTY, that wasn't in the story. THAT is why the jury was not relevant..

The sentence was determined by the PLEA AGREEMENT. THAT is why the judge's name was not relevant.

THAT is the planet that I am from...

Want to know something else about my planet?

a news site that posts a TWO YEARS AGO TRIAL RESULT, says that in the article.

They missed the plea deal and they missed that this happened in January 2014.

Great reporting, great work, great defense of their actions...

            (there is more, keep defending...)

Will anyone get ANY money back from this scam?

    I have my doubts.

This begs the question: Where did the money go??

They probably broke into a bank and stashed the money. They will break in and get it back when they are out.

    Side benifits?

The interesting question is "What happened to the new and all shiny version that was awaiting release?". Did it come nicely packaged on a laptop when they arrested the author? A nice new tool for the spooks?
