    A sweetheart deal then?

    So, the user gets pointed to the "partner" for cleansing after FB delivers the malware? One would have hoped that posts and any links would have been scanned by FB and/or it's partners before being posted to the users. After the crap hits the user, it's a tad late... IMO.

    Another reason to ignore FB....

    Isn't this exactly the behaviour of each and every one of the fake scan and crap-on-the-carpet 'anti virus' scams out there?

    ESET Online Scanner

    I think you'll find that ESET's online scanner will actually remove malware, not just scare monger into a purchase.
