    Can someone give a solid reason as to why the Chinese would consider "playing fair" in the game of world economics ?

    Well if the west didn't surrender their manufacturing base to China it may have had a bit more money to play with.

    I never saw those commissioners complaining about the European companies that keep their businesses sucking Brussels subsidies by moving their factories toward new EU entrants. And lastly, they outsourced to Africa, South America and Asia. Parasites, in my opinion. Guess what, the majority are from Central Europe and Scandinavia.

    Lines of credit have to be repaid - with interest.

    Subsidies don't.

    Those lines of credit are available to companies which have already proven themselves in the business arena. The chinese equivalent of Dell Boy Trotter doesn't get a look in.
