it removes the need to hook up the autopilot using a USB cable, which for proper testing and operational purposes would require a USB socket mounted on the Vulture 2's exterior

    and a very long cable!

Yes, the in-flight cable would be 30km+ and presumably wound round a really big spool.

I hope that bench is stand-up height

Because sitting down behind a laptop with that shelf in the way is going to be a pain.

How can you have a Guinness cert, but no Guinness?

Props for the inspirational and patriotic art, though. A very nicely done work area.

good thing I was sitting on the floor.

    When I read this:

"...and which has filled the space with the kind of resinous mountain-fresh aroma toilet cleaner manufacturers can only dream of."

Otherwise I believe I would have fallen out of my chair because I was laughing so hard.

So what was wrong with the Ardupilot?

      Re: Ardupilot

Absolutely nothing, but 3DR offered the Pixhawk. According to Andrew Tridgell, it has vastly superior data-logging capabilities, and an improved airspeed indicator.
