    Haven't they already got a 7" android tablet called the nook color? Sure it needs some fiddling to get the android market on it, but it's all there.

      Well, yes, but that's a "reader" and now sells for $50 less. The new higher-priced "tablet" seems to be essentially the same device without the confining "reader" designation.

    The Kindle Fire is supposed to ship on the 15th, when's this thingie supposed to materialize? Are we supposed to pre-order for a mid-December delivery? And who'd be dumb enough to do that?
