back to article Man jailed for sex with donkey and horse

The 66-year-old man who in April pleaded guilty in Leicester Crown Court to charges of "buggery of a donkey between February 2 and February 5, 1999, and buggery of a horse between March 15 and 18, 2004", has been jailed for 22 months. Joseph Squires - of "no stable address" - also admitted two charges of damaging property, " …

Angle = website, pics and videos, pay per view entry and the usual "pain in the arse" popups.

By the way there was also no mention if the donkey or the horse had access to psychiatric assistance following the incident ?

    For how long?

"between February 2 and February 5"

You mean to say that he was at it for 3 or 4 DAYS!?

    and "no stable address"

    Oh, that's priceless.

    No stable address?

Nice pun! But it sounds rather like his home address was a stable and the animals his live-in partners!

Looks to me like he had two stable addresses - one at a donkey stable, the other at a horse stable.

I believe the French Foreign Legion uses camels. I thought this was a put-up job but they ride them to the nearest town to find ladies of the night.

    WTF?

    1999?

Had the police been looking for him for eleven years, or did it take that long for the donkey to make a complaint?

2 years for sex with animals

What a complete waste of a jail cell, but then it's probably doing him a favour... low sec prisons are rather comfy these days and he'll get looked after and free entertainment.

Still I'd rather see a burglar or car/bike/sheep thief in his place.

This shows the intolerance, discrimination and bigotry directed at the zoophile community. Maybe one day beasties will be able to march with pride through our towns with their interspecies partners (with grants from the taxpayer).

And I have two questions about this part of the article:

"buggery of a donkey between February 2 and February 5, 1999, and buggery of a horse between March 15 and 18, 2004"

(Yes I know that videos/pictures probably existed here but.......) How did they dine uot about the two 'incidents' here? Did the donkey and the horse find out about each other and conspire to inform the authorities about the bad touching?

And secondly how the hell do you find these types of articles Lester? On a regular basis no less. Off for a brew later.

    help me out here

OK, so my question is, why do the horse and the donkey put up with it? You're getting right up close to their dangerous end to do this (unless it's some form of animal-buggery with which I'm unfamiliar).

Tux for the whole DIY-ness of it all.

    WTF?

How did anyone even find out about this?

Did a neighbor ("neigh"-bor, ha ha) happen by and capture some cellphone video/ camera evidence? Did the perp fess up? Did unusual lesions in the perp's nether regions cause his doctor to drop a dime on him? Did the donkey get jealous when the perp started carrying on with the horse and arrange for some belated payback (revenge being a dish best served cold)? This is more puzzling than the acts themselves.

Ordered on to sex offenders register?

Only just come across this as it did not appear on the front page with all the rest of the news....

I know the story from the Guardian was fairly brief, but I would be interested to know if he was ordered to enroll on the sex offenders register. As I want to compare the punishment for this case to the punishment in the case of the guy who plead to extreme p0rn for having a clip of something this guy was really doing. Will be p1ssed if the guy who watched a clip has to enroll where as the guy who commited the actual act does not.
