    I want to be one of the people who learns the language to participate.

    I am a linux admin who knows a bit fo bash but I have been toying with the idea of learning lisp for some time but have gotten bogged down when ANSI common lisp by Paul Graham seemed a bit too hard for me, being new and all..I think lisp seems awesome and from what I have read it makes short work of even large problems. I don't know if I can overcome my fear and learn enuf lisp to participate but I will try.
