No Scunthorpe in the US

But I did find Wishita and Toppenish and a selection of male chickens including Onancock. There are also Larsen Bay, Coarsegold, Harsens Island, Marseilles and a few Arsenals.

Re: No Penistone in the US

I used regular expression searches on a free ZIP code database so I should have found all the shit. I did not search for crap, but since you mention it there is Crapo in Maryland (the other Maryland, not the railway station near Stratford).

Although the US has no Rambottoms they make up for it with Ship Bottom, Beech Bottom, Hop Bottom, Walnut Bottom, Stony Bottom, Fraziers Bottom, Johnson Bottom, Clover Bottom, Dilles Bottom, Carpenter Bottom, Long Bottom, Broad Bottom, Rubottom, Beaver Bottom and Peach Bottom.

How can you fail to mention Foggy Bottom?

Re: Bottom hidden by fog

Foggy Bottom is not in the zip code database. It should be in a list of US historic districts, but I could not quickly find one in plain text format to search.

"How can you fail to mention Foggy Bottom?"

Or indeed, Soggy Bottom.

There's a Six Mile Bottom on the A11 I seem to remember.

No Scratchy Bottom?

(Despite online maps being unable to find it, it's a real place right next to Durdle Door)

No longer on the A11 as that has moved a couple of miles north.

Don't worry, it won't last

Twitler will express his outrage, esp. after someone registers something like fucktrump.us or grabembythepussy.us. Oh wait, someone has already registered grabthembythepussy.us. Yeah baby!

(I can hear it now: "So disrespectful.")

And once Kavanaugh is confirmed, whelp, there goes the neighborhood.

Re: Don't worry, it won't last

I loathe Trump, and I think Kavanaugh is a lying partisan hack who doesn't belong anywhere near any judicial bench, let alone the USSC...

But I have to give Trump his due. He may not care much himself about "freedom of speech", but his administration on the whole has been more favourable to it than others.

Re: Don't worry, it won't last

@veti

How do you get to that conclusion? Ultimately, I’d say that, with his repeal of net neutrality laws, and his repeated cries of Fake News and claims that journalist are the enemy of the state he’s done more to damage free speech than anyone in the US since McCarthy.

Certainly, he’s supported the right of the far right to espouse and promote online some of the most vile and socially undesirable concepts - but that isn’t the same thing as supporting free speech at all. In fact, paradoxically*, to truly support free speech it may be necessary to suppress some extremist (right or left) publications (however they’re delivered - on paper, on air or on line)

*Poppers Paradox which states that if a society is tolerant without limit, its ability to be tolerant will eventually be seized or destroyed by the intolerant.

Last time I checked there was anonymo.us. I wonder if there's a toys.r.us?

The problem with fucknazis.us is I'm not sure if it's a porn site for people with a Nazi uniform fetish, or something else.

I've seen a few over the years, but far fewer than I'd expect for something that makes for good word or phrase based domain names similar to .tv or .me.

Dunno, on what I watched I didn't hear any Nazi slogans, but I sure saw a lot of screaming and instigating of violence by antifa - which kinda boomeranged on them. You know, the guys so brave they had to wear masks and not register legally, who are somehow morally in the right in some eyes?

A pox on all of them, I say.

Were you watching Fox News by any chance.

In case you missed it, here's a photo of a genuine, full-sized Nazi flag being carried around in Charleston.

Because they don't think you can judge a persons character by the colour of their skin?

That's not "somehow morally in the right", it's just right. You can't judge a person's character by the colour of their skin.

Re: re: who are somehow morally in the right in some eyes?

Fucks sake! People genuinely downvoting "you can't judge a person's character by the colour of their skin".

Doesn't mean "you're not allowed to", it means "you won't be assessing their character, just your own".

Nazipunksfuckoff.us is still available. Could just be a looping video if the song.

Props to Jello Biafra and the gang though natch.
