The loss-making company ran into cash flow shortages on multiple occasions, most recently in April when principal secured lender Vodafone stepped in …

    Capitalism...

...knock it all you like, but nothing beats it for separating fools from their money.

Yep no expert especially on that side of the pond but remember some reader saying the only thing valuable about that company was their name.

    Dragons' Den ..

Did anyone ever notice how the other one er .. 'Peter Lewis' always went out of his way to humiliate any ethnic types who came on the show. 'My shit is worth more than your company' being one such phrase comes to mind. That whole show just an excercise in massaging the egos of the presenters. A monkey throwing a dart at a board would have a better investment record.

Did Dan Wagner ever go on there? That is one clueless (ex)CEO who simply doesn't give a sh1t.

A ponzi scheme by any other name

This company was the MBS (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/subprime-meltdown.asp) of the sme IT world, hoovering up small-scale IT service Cos and wrapping them up in a big shiny sweet wrapper, hoping some sugar-starved VC or MBO specialist would be suckered to bite. He is now no doubt having his fevered brow tended to by fawning bikini-clad models, glass of fizz in one hand, cigar in the other, whilst the 80ft gin-palace gently rocks underneath him somewhere off the coast near Dubrovnik. He hopes 'Rothers' will notice and invite him over for a spot of lunch and a run-through of the latest blueprints for the harbour re-development following the land options massaged through by Mandy.

      Or pump-and-dump.

Either way, it's a tradition first pioneered by those kings of corporate raiding back in the 1980s. You remember. The Thatcher/Reagan era of prosperity for everyone except the average person.

    Yeah... who?

Damn! Looks like I missed another flash in the pan. How will I ever live with myself?

    Oh wait. Don't care.

Just one question, though. Was ever heard to utter the phrase, "Do you know who I am?!"

If the domain name is going....

I'd put in a few notes to purchase this and then let someone run it for public benefit, with articles warning on the risks of outsourcing (this company, 2e2, reg123 etc see Reg articles ad passim) so that potential purchasers of such services can at least make a more informed decision.
