Just correct a comment or assumption made in this article. The demise of HPs Enterprise Services is down purely to their inadequate pursuit and management of such contracts. HP were always poor at ES, which is why they purchased a market leading company (EDS) some 7 years ago. However they chose not to learn from EDS but instead continued with the behaviour that had made them so bad in the first place. The actual ES people at HP were very good, and it is sad to see so many disappear, although I suspect that many of them took VR and are happy to be out of it now.
