    Industry monopolies are not good for consumers

    As OPEC and others including DRAM and HDD makers have proven, industry monopolies are not good for consumers. It's quite easy to increase profits and revenue when all the players in an industry conspire by raising their selling prices without a production cost increase. It happens all the time at the petrol pump and in many industries including the PC industry. Collusion is very popular and profitable.

    Probably from having to replace all their SHITTY hard drives that have been dropping like flies at my office over the past 4 months....
