    Trying to buy from Acer

Overstock? My daughter, who is a student, tried to buy from Acer on 7th October. She paid them £350 including a Rapid Delivery fee. The computer never arrived. She phoned several times and got passed around the customer services roundabout. Acer have now finally said that the computer has 'gone missing' and that they can't replace it because there are no more of that model in stock. Neither are they willing to replace with a higher spec, costing just £70 more. And a refund is going to take up to 10 working days. Not a good way to generate customer loyalty or spread a good image amongst the student community.
