    Ah yes, Data Acquisition for the OIl Baron's Ball

    Did that in the nineties using UNIX servers in a 30' sea container.

    The interface was a 9kg Toshiba 'laptop' with a monochrome red-orange display.

    With its 32Mb RAM it was a scorcher!
