    Would you take buying advice...

Would you take buying advice from a man who can't touch-type?

    Good work Acer

So to sum up, it's like an Aspire One but less portable, and twice the price? To be fair, at least they've upped the battery life, and I guess this could be some people's dream machine. Personally, if they want me to part with my Aspire One (and my hard-earned cash) they'll have to offer me something at least as portable, preferably more so.

    Screen resolution?

Looks good but I hope they've given it more than 1024x600

    Netbooks have lost their way...

The hardware looks nice but the price inflation compared to their original 9" linux model is hillarious. Using Plays pricing comparing models to go from a 9" Linux model to this I have to pay:

    £40-50 Windows tax

    £30 upgrade 9" to 10"

    £30 3 cell to 6 cell battery

    £50 10" 6 cell to 11"

Thats a £150 difference for 2" a bigger battery and an OS "upgrade". No thanks when a 13" Dell Vostro can be had for £340 and includes luxuries like a decent processor and DVD drive.

    I don't bother watching it

Please stop these video reviews, or only give them next to a normal, proper review.

Youtube not useful content for corporate

I'm sitting on a corporate network - for obvious reasons youtube content is filtered out. By all means provide an alternative link to youtube, but could you host the embedded version somewhere else?

    Pricing?

Acerdirect are showing a model at £399.97. No other details though.

    Screen Res?

Did I miss it? 11.6" widescreen....I got that much. But what's the actual resolution? If it 1280x800 then it's the laptop for me!

    re: Screen Res?

1366x768, according to Norwegian PC World:

    RE: Screen Res

Yes, I am looking for a larger screen size as well. I learn that it will have 1366x768 screen resolution (http://www.itechnews.net/2009/05/03/acer-aspire-one-751-netbook/#more-21703)

    Perfect

I want a cheap laptop that I can actually type on. I don't want to have to plug my laptop in every two hours and I want to be able to carry it around. Does anything better or even comparable exist?
