From https://maternityaction.org.uk/advice/discrimination-during-maternity-leave-and-on-return-to-work/:
"Under the Maternity and Parental Leave Regulations 1999 employees are entitled to all their terms and conditions of employment, apart from remuneration, during ordinary and additional maternity leave. This means employees are entitled to continue to accrue benefits such as paid annual leave during 52 weeks maternity leave."
Having said that, it doesn't seem to be 100% clear whether something which is effectively a cash benefit should be counted as "remuneration" or a benefit. It's possible that BT were being more generous than they needed to be prior to this change, but with the car benefit being rolled into salary, it's pretty clear that it counts as remuneration & as such would not be paid during maternity leave.
Another good thing about using a professional print shop is that it's more likely the photos won't fade too badly. Modern domestic photoprinters may be better, but qutie a few of my older (3-5 years) home-printed photos are looking a bit rubbish compared to 20-year-old film-based snaps.
As far as I've seen on 24, torture doesn't work! Pretty much every attempt at getting information by *torture*, as opposed to threats/intimidation fails miserably - either the information is plain wrong, or the suspect/informer doesn't give in. Jack can't get his brother to tell him the truth even with all the CTU's torturing gear. People who say that 24 promotes torture clearly don't watch the show! The same has been true for the earlier series as well - the best way to get the information seems to be to trick the other person, or just pay them off...
