How did you do it?
I've managed to get the SMS once out of four tries, no client, it won't sync and the page renders like a cow on Opera and firefox for me.
I'd like to use it, but I don't think my e65 is going to let me.
I love the next line.
which happens to be a sanity check...
Ah the netscape icon
I've missed it.
*nostalgia glasses on*
@James Hein
When you say they're as bad as Hasbro, you mean that they are Hasbro since Hasbro bought them 10 years ago.
Anyway, 2.5 is the one true ruleset, who'd want the new ones? I can't get the hang of this only D20s thing, last I heard they'd even done away with THAC0!
This is a shop
I can tell by the pixels and that I've seen other shops before,
Who else could do it?
Who else has the technology to unscrew things that are whizzing around?
Only the Goa'uld, that's who!
Kree!
Dual graphics cards in a dual screen laptop
We're talking what, 35 mins battery life?
Unless it's just for use in a mobile base rather than actually on a terrorist. Perhaps a new EeePC, the Eee200AT (anti terrorist).
Mind you I wouldn't say no to one of these for my own err... testing of massively distributed user/client infrastructures with high load graphical interface.
Wiimote cord?
Is it the nunchuck cord or the wrist band?
Enquiring minds need to know!
Why search?
Simple really, if someone's just been killed as they called the police, does the killer only need an infant and a prop to get away with it?
I'm no great fan of the police, but they have excellent reasons to check that when an emergency call is made that they're investigating the event properly.
Although if they were as apathetic as people here would like, it would make an excellent crime thriller plot. "Murderer misleads police by staying at the scene of the crime and using a baby"
Yup Virgin don't seem to be blocking
I can even access that pit of rampant playmobil filth, El Reg, through it.
Very smooth,
So smooth in fact that clicking the "download" button seems to do nothing, at least not in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera or Chrome.
Looks like I'll have to torrent the iso to try it.
@Kenny Millar
You mean the bluetooth works and it can copy paste?
I bet it's her doing it
Just for some twisted reason that will make a TV miniseries and a direct to DVD movie, possibly a novelisation if she plays it right.
Cunning plan.... BRB off to Blogger to start calling myself names.
Great idea
But any chance we can get some SI measurements in there for those of us who wouldn't know a pound in weight if they held it in their hands? Maybe a few centimetres too, because well, I like centimetres.
The laptop sounds great, I too miss a second monitor when I don't have it, especially for programming (and gaming, but don't tell my boss). I'm just a little worried about its strength, floating in the air like that.
This is the kind of Journalism
This country needs more of. How is it that it's left to a tech rag to publish these harrowing pictures, while the mainstream press ignore what's happening on their doorsteps?
Bravo El Reg, Bravo.
(Can you get an interview with Mr O Prime? I'd love to read that!)
Pushing the envelope
Does that mean offering a bribe?
Enquiring minds need to know!
Wait let me get this straight...
You're advertising on your site for advertisement for your site?
The recursion alone is geeky enough!
Paris, because I need her brain to work this out.
Surely it has to be
Pwn, pwned and various derivatives. It actually feels nicer to say pwned than owned even!. Once a typo, now a term in its own right, pwning is the new win!
Bachelorette...
...What was wrong with spinster?
losing Xorg.conf?
That'll be like losing an old friend :(
What happens when you muck about with the graphics drivers and the gui won't load? Do you have to go to an auto-configured xorg?
Oh I'm so confused, the new things look good, but losing xorg.conf? I don't know if I should upgrade...
Oh wait I'll just try it on a live CD, problem solved :p
@JK
I think that's treason. Can't you still be hanged for that here?
I just checked, no you can't. Oh well, I'm sure it's frowned upon nonetheless.
The one day
Which I'm not on their network but am instead running through three for my work .
Lucky break, hope it works by the time I get home though.
Protagonist?
She was telling a story?
Sure you didn't mean antagonist?
Anyway, where can I get space knickers?
Surely this was a perfect chance
To say "Ann Summer's Yanks Wonky Willy's chocolate"
It's not the first time I've seen things like that on Wikipedia
They're often terrible at punctuation and homonyms. Shocking.
I can see it as broadcasting
But how do you send thing upstream with this? Fall back on good old wifi and lose the directionality and security they're pushing?
As a former Sega console fanboy
I'm now saving my pennies for one of these.
If it has Alex Kidd in Miracle World, I'm sold!
I like it
Now that's what I call a good bank robbery!
They should make a movie about it.
@AC Re: Beautiful gardens
Unless you want it to survive, perhaps herbicide would be more useful on a weed?
I read that as...
Vista II, some kind of software deathray maybe?
Never take a pooh pooh lightly!
As Melchet once said:"Well, I hope so, Blackadder. You know, if there's one thing I've learnt from being in the Army, it's never ignore a pooh-pooh. I knew a Major, who got pooh-poohed, made the mistake of ignoring the pooh-pooh. He pooh-poohed it! Fatal error! 'Cos it turned out all along that the soldier who pooh-poohed him had been pooh-poohing a lot of other officers who pooh-poohed their pooh-poohs. In the end, we had to disband the regiment. Morale totally destroyed... by pooh-pooh!"
Site style changes are fine and dandy
But what happened to the shopped photos for post icons?
That said the comments on the icons are better now, I just miss the shopped photos.
Oh dear lord
Forget a shopped Jass, there's a Hugh Jarse on the electoral roll according to yournotme.
That poor man.
Rotating discs are often used to create lift
Frisbees for example?
I'd watch it.
That ending would be worth it imo.
Ah a smile for a friday :)
To be fair though
Coups are pretty much a tradition in Thailand now, They can't get rid of the biannual coup, what would people talk about?
And anyway, porn on the net's an easy target, every government loves it both to use and to vilify.
(C) Google as this was written on Chrome.
Posting from Chrome
It's pretty nippy, but it throws a hissy fit on some forums,
I miss my mouse gestures though, a lot.
Ahh playmobil on a friday
Can we expect a lovely BOFH to round the afternoon out too?
@Ramon Cahenzli
That's what they want you to think.
Where were the other squirrels? Hmm? They only revealed the truth about this one because they couldn't plausibly deny it. As for the other 8 who managed a similar feat, well... " A roasted squirrel is not an act of terrorism, so nobody powered up the emergency studio."
Sheeple would believe that, but I don't!
Dead bird icon, because kamikaze pigeons is next I'm tellin' ya.
How convenient...
Just as G.W. is seen hanging around the women's beach volleyball area, a sudden breakthrough in invisibility occurs.
Military's probably had this for 10 years, he is CiC after all, putting tax dollars to a purpose at least half the electorate would approve of is surely a first?
"English Actor"
I'm sure that'll annoy him more than apparently being wanted for burglary. You know those Scots love being called English.
@ratfox
It's pretty variable at the moment. Today the visibility is excellent here in Chaoyang, yesterday the air was redolant with healthy hydrocarbons.
As a side note, there was dog on the menu on Thursday night here, a stone's throw from Chang'an Jie, so perhaps like spitting, it's nothing more than a news story.
*hawks up a loogie and lets rip at the yappy pomeranian that keeps annoying me in the evenings*
Dead vulture because the duck's much nicer anyway.
Shocking
Watt do these companies think they're doing? Current-ly there's not enough punning in this article though. Joule get better ratings with more puns.
(reasonably priced)Power to the people.
Mine's the one with the label "Warning: Yield greater than three megapuns"
