Drive them mad !
1 Turn the kettle of at the wall when there not looking
2 Write post that misuse there, their and they're.
Come to think of it, this may only work on my wife and/or english teachers.
Ofcom's 57-page study on website-blocking
Part of my job being to block websites I thought it would be worth a look. First paragraph in the paper "parts of this document have been redacted as they contain techniques for by passing web blocking controls... " .. guess which part of the paper I skipped to ...
Copy and paste into notepad.... and , well I doubt that the redacted section would teach any Reg reader anything new. But I suppose its nice to see they are trying to be secure. Its just a crying shame these people are influential in any technology matter if they cannot even redact a PDF properly.
Surely the solution is to ensure that games controllers etc are ergonomic and joint health friendly. It amazes me that this is beyond the wit of the designers.
I modded my xbox controller my self with some self hardening rubber plastic stuff, not perfect but way better.
That cleric said that imodestly dressed women incited men to lust and adultury and it was this "energy " that caused the earth quakes... so if the women of world would really like to stress test this issue, they should be having affairs and madly flirting
Please tell me where you'd like to meet I'm happy to help !
I for one
would like to welcome our new demonic overlords.
Thats a pretty lame flame tbh, they not really made the effort. I'll see if i can do better !
Spirit Vs Letter
I find it easy to applaud the BBC's actions, they was obviously no malicious intent. The spirit of the law , that is to decrease malicious abuse of computers , was palpably upheld.
I'm fed up with seeing the easy targets shot at, the real criminals are those that crafted the botnet and they should be the ones brought to justice, not the BBC..
enough " ' " s already
I just spent 20 minutes reading the grammer rules for apostrophes on wiki how. That fella that said lets just forget the apostrophe had the right idea.
Its a living language and I'll use it any way I want to, henceforeward I will decline the use of apostrophes and I urge you all to do the same.
Paris 'cos she knows when it's is a possesive pronoun !
Hey Vultures, get over it...
Hey Register, most of the time you guys hit the spot, but this time i think you've got it wrong..
The OP made a point ,you may not like it , but the article did take the micky out of the welsh and that bloke did not find it funny. So sense of humour failure maybe but "FotW"?
If you make a joke at a minoritys expense expect some response from that minority. Be big enough to say "OK we're sorry" not hold the complaint up for the world to ridcule as "FotW"
The "flame" he sent you is hardley worth the title , it seems thought through, lacks grammatical errors (unlike this post) and express's a legitamate concern."Vitriolic" is over the top for what was an attempt at humour , but by giving this FotW status you just draw your attention to what is a very old joke about sheep and welshmen.
<Cough>Anyway , everyone knows its the Kiwi's that are the real sheep botherer's these days.</Cough>
