Yet another brilliant product ruined by the"fair Usage Policy" of death.
The fair usage policy is just an excuse because their selling something their network can't keep up with.
Atleast they didn't say "Unlimited" otherwise this rant of mine could have gone on for pages, Look up the meaning of "Unlimited" in the dictionary, just to prove my point.
:( I want one
first computer I ever had was the relativly new IBM PS1 (pre-HDD think it ran from a Rom chip but I could be mistaken) and I miss that shed loads.
I also had a Sinclare Spectrum but it wasn't the same :(
blooming 'ell (<<<<<moderated)
they should make TV screens out of cork so you can throw darts at it!

IT Girl needs SAT NAV!
It takes a certain type of person to aim for Rwanda and hit japan!
Company's should be forced by the trade accociation and other relevant governing bodies to remove the word unlimited from any product that is not "unlimited" its a joke!
by the meaning of the word,
un·lim·it·ed /ʌnˈlɪmɪtɪd/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[uhn-lim-i-tid]
1. not limited; unrestricted; unconfined: unlimited trade.
2. boundless; infinite; vast: the unlimited skies.
3. without any qualification or exception; unconditional.
Without any qualiufication or exception; unconditional,
Microsoft IS Cyberdyne!
Prove me wrong! hehe
because it would only be a matter of time till skynet considers them both a risk and eliminates them anyway thats why!
When they start selling replicas of me that can go to work for me and go shopping with the wife for me I'll be first in line!!!
@"It's all down to BT's lazy arses really!"
Your not wrong, a friend of mine lives 2 doors away from the telephone exchange he's connected to, He has a 16Mbit connection from sky and he just had his phone line put in, so its all brand new shinny copper cabling, he can't get more than 4Mbits equivilent speed.
Its all a load of scrotum contents!
BT needed to offer a draft N1 router anyway this just gives them an excuse!!!
Or they'll prob just release a crappy firmware update that will make the process 5mins longer!
Erm...are you serious????@Wii Lovers
the Wii is two products rolled into one, its a dvd, cd player and a games console, and a weak one at that.
The PS3 is a BD played, dvd, cd player, a media center, and the most advanced Console ever produced.
Of course its pricey and of course not everybody can afford it at its current price. But, after the initial impulse cash flow that nitendo receive the sales wii'll drop off, at this point of course, the slight PS3 price drop, thats hit the states already, will be a much larger price drop that will hit globally, PS3 sales will begin to grow and people witnessing the immence performance will indeed realise this piece of top-end technology is available within their budget and the PS3 sales will grow, PS3 will out sell PS2 Which outsold all else, and you Wii loving hippies will just have to deal with it, get ya wallet out and get over it!
the way I see it........
is the only people worried about privacy, are people that have something to hide A.K.A wrong do'ers and f*#kwits.
I'm also pretty sure that 90% of legislation and regulations are only written because some fat pompus idiot has to justify his over paid pointless existance to his superiors and salary cheque signers.
what a load of big fat hairy ones!!!
For the second, last, ti......Oh whatever
don't get me wrong I have a mac several in fact but my PC cost half the price and is much faster (in Practice) than the higher spec'ed Mac I don't know why this is, but its true!
Just a normal hippie.
(not a mac loving one!)
For the last time.......
Mac's do what they do, well.
PC's do everthing else better!
get over it you Mac loving hippies.
And yes the gateway "One" would tidy up all my staffs desks and make all the offices look much better. but then again cupboards are cheaper!
partial improvment but..........
You need to tag everyone with a chip its, the only fulproof way!
there'll be bla bla bla human rights and bla bla bla personnal privacy but that will only last untill everyone has been robbed, mugged, raped or killed then they'll be complaining because something wasn't done about it!!!
Combine ID-chips with chip-scanning CCTV and hey presto crime free or atleast less crime, with it being illegal to remove the chips anyone without one is a criminal and everyone with one can be tracked or traced. obvoiusly there would have to be strict regulation on what reasons and purposes the system was used for perhaps with police having the option of hand held scanners.
Wouldn't have added that last paragraph, but unfortunatly you did!
Bet your livid!!!
RE: "This seems unnecessary"
The fact that I got bored reading your first paragraph seems to be enough reason on its own! hehe
Lets face it one quick quality interchangeable card would be excelent, (everyone who says it wouldn't is either lying, confused or a moron.) But unfortunatley its never going to happen, getting large companies to agree on the day of the week's hard enough.
A regulatory force with lots and lots of clout would be needed to impose co-operation.
I could just tape my mobile phone to the front of my face as it does the same thing!!!!!
Piece of Poo....
I could build a smaller and probably lighter and more effective device in my shed, I'm really not kidding!
that is some lo-tech sh...........!!!!
Where's the active camo, and portable EMP devices?????
Here's to doing it right in the first place!!!
and not giving it a new name each time you get closer to what should already be the norm!
I the manufacturers could just work out how to reduce the production cost of uber fast solid state memory harddrives would be BetaMax!!!
Cos this is going to take off like a brick!!!!
I wish I could get paid their salery for being a moron too!!!
Yes I know!!
I said interpolated and polated instead of interlaced and progressive but you get the gist!?
I Know I 'm a broken record But......
PS3 Vs. XBOX 360 Elite or other, is wrong......
Now comparing the PS3 to the XBOX 360 and HD DVD player as a collective would be fair PS3 £400 --- XBOX £430
Which means PS3 wins on price, as soon enough dvds will go the way of the VHS.
1080 interpolated is not 1080 polated, its is of course better.
For those of you who are unaware why, look it up!
The PS3 does not have a rumble function but in all fairness that was just a pointless gimmick that lacks the proper physical impact of an actual explosion on screen! unless of course when a mine detonates 3 foot from you all that happens is your hands shake a bit?????????
What it does have is a tilt facility though not yet utilised fully, that will offer a definate variation on game play which the 360 does not have.
The ability to stream video from your PS3 HDD to your PSP and remotely controll your PS3 from anywhere over the internet perhaps to start it downloading a demo for when you arrive home?? Comon'.
Sony have the pedigree wouldn't count them out just yet!
So far so good....
all we need no is wireless power and we're sorted although belkin have been trying to help there too with their one charger fits all jobby!
£5,000 to £10,000 an hour
Obviously the person who wrote the advert is getting paid too much too!
