Stop

Streaming is already covered

R. v. Smith and Jayson [2002 EWCA Crim 683]

Downloading an indecent image onto the computer screen is an offence of making, even if a copy was not separately saved onto a disk. Once an image is downloaded, the length of time it remains on the screen is irrelevant.

Few arrests

The reason for such a low number of arrests is probably due to the information recovered from the ISPs being given to other police forces across the UK who then go on to arrest the suspect.

re: Iain

Well yes that would indeed work as long as you already have internal access to the network... but then why would you want to hack it if you are already on it.

Twat tricks twats

I find it quite surprising how many people actually think the twat in question actually does these 'feats' we have been discussing. As a previous commenter mentioned, in the box they put a curtain up every now and then for him to have a good eat, in the ice cube there was a fake bottom and they blew dry ice fog over the ice (to keep it from melting apparently!) which obscured the view enough for him to swap with a double into the little nice room underneath. All of them are tricks. ALL TRICKS.

Ubuntu is cooler!

When you try to run Photosynth in Firefox on Ubuntu the following message is shown:

"Unfortunately, we're not cool enough to run on your OS yet. We really wish we had a version of Photosynth that worked cross platform, but for now it only runs on Windows."

Blimey, Microsoft actually admitting that Linux is cooler than Windows. Whatever next?!

Ooooh I likey

I brought one of the oringal EEEs and while I love it I'm looking for something with a little more screen real-estate yet still small, cute, cheap and MS free. Looks like this may well be a serious contender. Yay.

Re: I don't get it - Tom

Tom: Well apparently they know what one of the words means, and the show the word that they don't know the meaning of to a number of social-networkers. If they all give the same answer then they now know what that word means. All very clever I think.

3rd option

Or perhaps a third option, the manual wasn't actually written by engineers and they just all their standard gumpth which they used for every laptop. Oh yeah, but don't call it a laptop as asus don't, Hmmmm legtop??

Olden days

Despite being widely considered the colour of females, before the 1930s, pink was considered to be a colour for boys in America. Because pink is a watered down version of red, it was considered a colour of power and strength, as red is still today. Blue was for girls.

It's from Wikipedia... it must be true!
