Just wonderful....
Finished the single-player PC version this morning (early!) with the kids helping out with some of the puzzles. Going to play the co-op version with my eldest later on. A truly magnificent game for those of us that like to think rather than just shoot....!
Set it in the 70's/80's and we'll be alright...
The original cars are still about and in the hands of enthusiasts. Get the actors right (perhaps British unknowns) and we're there.
You never know, it could be good...The Starsky & Hutch movie did a good job. The Dukes of Hazzard, on the other hand, did not.....
First impressions
Tried this last night - easy to setup and the games (at first run through) are fun to play as a family - the sight of my missus playing football against an invisible opponent was enough to keep me chuckling all night.
Only gripe is the amount of space you need - although I hope the Kinect TV mount will make that easier.....when it's finally available to joe public.
Worth the wait in my opinion and my kids love it. That's good enough for me!
Data security? Well, we've heard of it....
I was on the list as well - quite enjoyed some of the comments flowing across the country last night......although some had a sense of humour failure...
There's a clip on the bbc website...
You can see where they're going with it...

nice touch at the end of the credits for those of us who are not only old enough to remember the series but have them all on DVD.
Let's give it a chance - and hopefully a cameo from George Cole!
Oh my god...
This has bad idea written all over it. Actually, it has "don't be blooming stupid, this is such a bad idea that you should all be ashamed for even considering it" written all over it.
Minder was and still is one of my favourite programmes - why ruin the memory of it?
And Shane Ritchie as Arthur Daley? He's entertaining but he's no George Cole!
As for Paris - I'll leave you to fill in the jokes about things sucking.
No - No way - not ever
How can you possibly remake such a classic?
Oh well, the search for fresh Hollywood ideas carries on...
