Re: Anyone else reminded of
Everyone needs a bosom for a pillow ?
Re: Want to "save the chilllllldddddrrren"?
" than were killed or injured by guns fired by pre-teens in the last year "
What has pre-teens got to do with it, other than allowing a lower number than the tornado killed ?
Re: I wonder if the bacteria in them holes ever thinks.....
I thought it was "ugly bags of mostly water".
Re: Bucked the trend
Yes, it's actually quite addictive, it's had about 4 hours off me tonight, so yeah, it's enjoyable, nice seeing the little history lessons going on with the hardware releases, as time goes by.
£6.83 well spent.
Bucked the trend
.. and bought a copy, because well, everyone needs a little extra beer money from time to time, and I thought the piracy hack-job was funny.
Coming soon...
AdBlock for DVD and BluRay.
Good news day.
Anything that makes going into space a positive thing is imo a "good thing", that coupled with a 5 second sound-bite on the radio news as I woke up of a girl born with HIV seemingly cured with standard medication, makes this a "good news day".
Let's hope it stays that way.
Re: Linux is a strong solution
Fishing much?
In BootNotes
So would that make it a Booty Call ?
Upvote for Marvin
Glad to see I wasn't wrong in my guess, when I went to look.. \o/
Re: iPad3 ... works
Only issue reported so far, other than the Cydia servers getting DDOS'd by everyone who's just JB'd their phone, wanting to get their favourite hack-de-jour, is the weather app isn't working, though they're aware of it, and were working on it they said.
Re: ah
I'm a iPhone and iPad owner, and am not an AC, but neither do I feel the need to ridicule someone else for what choice of phone / tablet they own either, so I guess that makes me a rarity around these parts then?
Re: BB10
The general rumblings are that it'll get BB10 tomorrow, I like the feel of my PB, but I still prefer my iPad 2.
Re: The song he introduced just makes everything worse
One finger, one thumb, keep moving. :)

His only realy crime
I think you'll find that handing out classified documents to people not legally allowed to have access to is kinda up there with it...
Re: So they have negative Kinetic Energy?
No, they have finally produced LUDICROUS SPEED.
Re: Ideal tourist destination
Sounds like someone with a Napoleon complex.
Re: 486?
I remember building a Cyrix M1 PC for someone, was their so-called 586 chip, was like excrement off a digging implement at the time.
Why it took so long
Is because of Sepp Blatter and his crony Michel Platini.
Re: Yet another government at Apple's beck and call
Or, how about, they were helping perpetrate a crime, and are being punished for it, what's so wrong with that?

Re: Oh no...
My comments won't do it justice, so I'll stick with
"What they ^^ said".
Well done lad, was scary watching during those check-lists.
Silly question time..
Why is the Games section in RegHardware and not Software ?
Free speech
Unfortunately, people consider free speech to mean they can say whatever offensive and insensitive things they like on the Internet and it be OK.
With apologies to DA
"But Mr User, the instructions to enable DNT have been available in your web browser for the last nine months."
"Oh yes, well as soon as I heard I went straight into settings to find it, yesterday afternoon. You hadn't exactly gone out of your way to call attention to them, had you? I mean, like actually telling anybody or anything."
"But the ability to opt-out was there ..."
"Was there? I eventually had to go down to the advanced settings to find them."
"That's the best place for it."
"With a browser extension."
"Ah, well the security had probably been enabled."
"So had the CSS to display it in white on white."
"But look, you found the notice didn't you?"
"Yes," said the user, "yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked menu stuck in a config file with a page displaying saying 'Here be dragons'."
Man City
And they call US fans bitter....
Re: Is this supposed to be humorous?
If only there was a system where we could select what sections of the site we want to read, that way, us boring farts can never see the Bootnotes section ever again,
Cry more
Wah wah wah, my city isn't getting 4G, therefore it's crap..
Cry me a river ffs.
Re: Express: Are they fealing the 'heat' or... ?
In addition, on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/apps - the banner ad says "Develop great Metro style apps for Windows 8" broad as brass..
Sounds like they need a bit more work on their Search and Replace skills, perhaps they couldn't find it on the new ribbon.
Re: STOP SAYING METRO!!!!!!!!
Jehova ! Jehova ! Jehova !
Re: No need to wait.
Yes, but what did the Romans ever do for us ?
Sounds like we need one in Blighty
For the evil invading Argentinians trying to beautiful sovereign Falkland Isles in the name of oil exploration.
Re: Next?
That's not what the wife says...
But..
I like seeing my house on Google maps :(
Is he about to release a book or something ?
He's popping up everywhere at the moment, that usually only happens with people just about to release a book or film.
As for his comments, accurate, but puerile and childish.
Re: Did better than I did
My recommendation, after having a similar experience to yourself, stock up on Windows 7 licenses in a couple of weeks, when the upgrade price of £14 or whatever they usually charge kicks in, and buy those too, then use Windows 7, until Windows 8 sp2.
Re: Misleading name
Yep, was expecting some kind of self-manipulation device also.
Re: Bloody Social!
Well, other than the fact that MySpace was fucking hideous, looking like a throw back to the Geocities websites of the early 90s ?
Nobody is a lot of people
I wouldn't say "nobody", as I still enjoy and regularly use SIRI, even in its crippled UK form, once business addresses and the likes get implemented a-la USA, then I'll enjoy it all the more.
BOLTON...
And when did Shelley retire?
I always enjoyed chatting to him, at their old premises, you could always get discounts if you asked for Shelley to serve you direct.
Re: Return of the Jedi
Nope, you're right, and it was bloody impossible. :)
XWing.. Hmm
Nope, whilst XWing was good, and Tiefighter was great, I still preferred Xwing vs Tiefighter.
US contingent
Are you sure it wasn't Howard Walowicz?
Icon, coz it's a BIG BANG :)
Ok, hands up... who clicked the link hoping for a bigger version of the thumbnail ?

A Euro Domain for Euro People
Are you local ?
Seller
Perhaps he should have used the nomme-de-plume "woz not woz".
Re: where did it hit?
One assumes that prior to 12000 years ago, it was just River Cuitzeo.
Why?
OMG, they're huge freaking bugs, let them die off, for pete's sake!
I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
