Or owners could protect their kit by using preyproject.org.
I'd be interested in some sort of Reg Tutorial on putting something low cost together and configured, even if only for home use.
Re: Using Nexus 10 as USB drive from XP
No doubt they will all end up on eBay..
No doubt some pen pushing council operative will decide we need another fucking recycling bin to put something into.
Re: I'll get it in first
Shouldn't it be:
All your face belong to us..
*Throws money at screen*
Come back when you can string a sentance together.
Re: I went down the DIY route
Me too, HP Microserver N36L £129 after cashback, 2x2TB Samsung F4 drives @ £70each (week after the floods just before they rocketed up) and Windows Home Server 2011 - £40, and 8gb of Ram for about £40.
Hooked up on gigabit ethernet - 109/mbs all day.
Re: Mattel Aquarius
Well I had one, it was the first computer I learned to program on.
Don't forget the plug in joypads, double cartridge expansion - for RAM and games!
Mowerman was my fave as was the spy shooter I cannot recall.
I feel you pain also :(
Fixing the nations roads back to pre-pot hole times.
Chain gang style.
Lets hope they get Fleet bonus's too.
When asked what he thought about the collaboration, betweem film, internet dotcoms and ex NASA boffs, astronaught Tom Jones replied 'It's not unusual'.
Dropbox starts at 2gig free, and now goes up to 16gig if referrals join :)
'In addition to Sony’s Internet TV platform, you can use this TV as a DNLA receiver to watch content from your PC or Mac.'
Did anyone else read this as 'In addition to Sony’s Internet TV platform, you can use this TV as a DNLA receiver to watch porn from your PC or Mac.'??
He should totally write his own OS.
Re: Re: Coventry Pie
Easier for the crystal shortage too ;)
Is this the end of churches?
That would be an ecumenical matter.
Setup your own little server + domain
I'm in the process of setting up a Acer Revo R3600 as a little CentOS server just for email and stuff - nothing major.
I already have my own domain, just need to learn some of this Linux malarky and I'll be done :)
get it from a certain software for students website for £40quid.
Cache is king!
"According to the ISSCC abstract, Intel will be showing off a "12-wide issue" Itanium chip with eight multi-threaded cores that has a ring-based system interface and a combined cache on the die of 50 GB. That's a weird number, with the Itanium 9300 having 512 KB of L2 instruction cache, 256 GB of L2 data cache, and 6 MB of L3 cache per core. Just keeping all of those cache sizes the same and ramping up to eight cores puts you at 54 GB."
How much cache?? MB I think, not GB...
Paris cos I'm sure she's given a few bites..
Spot on review
I wasn't aware that the single player and multi player were done by separate teams - makes sense now cos you can go prone and slide in single player but not in multi player :(
Also your gripe with spawning next to players under fire is also correct - another gripe is spawning MILES away from where the action is or spawning in the same predictable place under gun fire.
Single player not as good as BFBC2, multiplayer better than BFBC2.
Immensely enjoyable with a few friends - but it's only filling in until COD Black Ops is released.
Paris cos I'm sure she's fired a few guns..
This title is intentionally left blank
US Gallons < UK Gallons
Figures less impressive!
102.5MPGe = 85.3491 UK MPG - only 20more mpg than my '96 diesel that does 600+miles on a full tank.
Although if my car looked like a spaceship/or looked like it could fly, it would be more impressive ;p
Wonder how that Yamaha engine would fair on a motorbike...
Re: Not so sure.
The guy is clearly sat in the right hand seat, while the steering wheel can be clearly seen on the wrong side (left hand side).
What you see on the steering wheel is more likely the mechanical control to turn the steering wheel.
I used to get 2.5hrs - 3hrs out of my admittedly aging HP NX6110, however W7 RC1 has never let me get anywhere near that, I chalked it up to it's age, but maybe not so...
Re: Phone or Radio?
It will hardly be sampling the voice @ 200Mhz, more likely at ~4khz like every other phone on the planet, and thus very little required to record - before compression.
Plus your maths are way out. your figures are bonkers.
Mines the one with the chap nicking your Googlephone.
