Getting a kick out of SC and PS Series
Hello! I work for Dell Storage and wanted to kindly point out that the headline here might be seen as misleading. Yes, indeed, we’re bringing the common management and several of the core features of our higher-end Dell SC Series (nay-Compellent) arrays down to the entry level. This offers reduced management complexity for our SC Series customers with common management across high, middle and low-end arrays. However, EqualLogic isn’t getting kicked…it’s getting more love. Dell also announced today the PS6610 Series, our highest-performing and most dense arrays to date + several new feature to our PS Series (nay-EqualLogic) array software with a new version, 8.0. We have large customer bases for both lines and are committed to support both with these updates and many more to come. Stay tuned!
