Redmond puts key Vista update on ice

I know a vista lover

believe it or not I saw one today, running Vista on a mac notebook because he could not find any XP drivers for the display and things. Vista runs fine but he has not run SP1 yet; he may dual boot with ubuntu.

RE:What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Her code disarmed the alarm, her account deleted the files but importantly Marie Cooley has confessed to the crime.

The charge is an second degree felony that can go up to a five-year prison sentence.

Of course this all started with the wife; who used her own phone number but her husband's office/business email account in her ad.

The thing that sticks in my mind is it took her four hours (according to the alarm records) to delete the files; could this be Vista ? or it that just copying files : )

sounds cheap

its the cost of man hours to draw them. remaking them would cost more. I belive the owner did not have backups quote from the Jefferson himself "The lesson to be learned here is that you can't depend on having just one set of records or files and having your employees have access to them. You've got to have some kind of backup"

still get lost....

Beancounters said we used up too many pens at our media library. So on instruction from managers I taped and glued a length of small link chain to a pen leading to a lump of wood and yes still got lost. Started to glue them inside a 3 foot length of bamboo thinking pockets are not that deep; worked for a while untill someone thought they were 'cool' .........The epoxy glue cost more than a box of cheap pens.

Then finally a 'old' PC and printer were used to print out media library request slips details which were typed in another system when media was handed over.
