These comments are as relevant a comment from a Witch Doctor. The clerics have too much time on their hand and are on their spiritual way to devolve into a lizard!

Re: I am considering moving away from Barclays

Yes, I shall do that. I have paid a lawyer £300 to look over the contract. The lawyer's opinion was not to sign it.

I am considering moving away from Barclays

I have a business account with Barclays and they are trying to get me to sign all my assets for a small mortgage! My bank manager is dense as a frog with a "jack the lad" flash watch which he is really proud of. He calls me during my holidays to say I am in overdraft when I am in lots of credit (he forgets where to look).

The man and the bank do not inspire confidence and make me watch my back all the time. Any other bank recommended anyone?

CEO Marissa Mayer puts on brave face as Yahoo! shows another loss

Not looking good for poor Marissa

After sacking the COO with a $60M golden parachute, there will probably be another loss making year I reckon. Google was at its inception when she was working there; and she did well. Yahoo is a mature animal and so much harder to turnaround.

I wonder if Microsoft's Windows regular crashing, malware and virus infections has anything to do with it!

I've just seen 10% of the PC biz disappear into the cloud

Should have bought more!

I have bought two of these drives for my CCTV recording unit as they are special drives. I chose these as the MTBF (Average life span of the drive) is 1.2 Million hours.

http://www.seagate.com/staticfiles/support/disc/manuals/enterprise/Barracuda%20ES/SATA/100424667b.pdf

Normal Seagate drives have only 750,000 hours average life. See here:

http://www.seagate.com/docs/pdf/datasheet/disc/ds_barracuda_7200_11.pdf

Meaning the drives that Aria sold have an extra 50 years life span compared to normal drives. I don't mean to blow my own trumpet, but I always seem to amaze friends with my well researched purchases. These drives were gold dust and they have a 5 year warranty direct with Seagate. I can take them directly to Seagate in case they fail. Pity they don't have them anymore!

Incredible what a bit of research can turn up!!
